2009 Videos From Beyonce Knowles

Beyonce's new album came out in 2008 called, I am Sasha Fierce. The CD represents Beyonce as herself and her alto-ego Sasha Fierce. If you have ever seen Beyonce in concert or performing anywhere, you can tell the difference. Married to Shawn Corey Carter, better known as Jay-Z, she is still bring the heat when it comes to her music, concerts, and music videos.

We all loved Single Ladies, with the catchy chorus and the sexy dance that goes along with it and If I Were A Boy, which related to all females. This is also a perfect example of Sasha Fierce vs. Beyonce. But now Beyonce has brought even more spice to the videos that she has already created. I'm talking about her new hit, Halo and Diva!!!

Halo is about a girl who falls deep in love with a boy and he becomes a real positive influence in her life. The man who is playing her true love, Michael Ealy, is off of the movie Barber Shop and the Barber Shop II. She's talking about how he is so sweet, loving and sincere that she can see his Halo. Here is a little bit of the chorus, to let you get a taste of what its like, if you never heard of it.

Now Diva is the total opposite of Halo. It has a beat that you can't help to bounce to and if you see the video, you will fall in love with this song. This song is about what a D-I-V-A really is and as she Beyonce puts it, "A Diva is a female verison of a Hustla." It's related to Single Ladies because she is dancing a lot in the video also, but it has more of an edge to it.

Jennifier Hudson Coming Back In Da Spotlight

On October 28, 2008, a tragedy struck the Hudson family when the famous and Oscar winning Jennifier Hudson found out her mother, Darnell Donerson, who was 57 years old and her brother Jason Hudson, who was 29 years old, was found shot to death. The main suspect was Jennifier's sister Juilia Balfour's husband, William Balfour, who also ends up kidnapping their son and then killing him. He is still in jail without bail and is pleading NOT GUILTY. So his case is still in process.


On the positive side, Hudson has been grieving for the past 3 months and is ready to come back out to shine. She is to be performing for the Super Bowl and the Grammy Awards this February. This should be a site to see!!! So if you are a big fan of Jennifier Hudson and want to see her come back with a Big Bang, you should stay tuned and watch the 2009 Grammy Awards and the Super Bowl.

Baldwin Hills this January

One of my favorite TV shows on BET is coming back out this January. Baldwin Hills is a mix between Laguana Beach and College Hill. If you don't like drama, good advice, and something to make you laugh....this show is for you!!! If you are a big fan of this show as I am, you should go to Best Buy or any store where you can purchase DVD's and get the 1st season.

This is about to be the 3rd season and it just keeps on getting better and better. New people are added to the season each time and it's making the show look hotter and hotter. People are also leaving the show because they do have to go on to college and continue their own personal lives. But there are still a lot of people on the show from the first season still so dont worry. The time and date are not given out yet, so you'll have to keep a look out. Just be ready for the fun times, the bad times and even the sad time with Baldwin hills.

2009 New Movies

It's 2009 and I am going to be bringing you the new movies, tv shows, trends, music, and videos. There are a lot of new movies coming out this month and everyone is going to be out at the movies on a cold winter Friday Night. For starters, on the 16th of this month the movie "Notorious" directed by George Tillman Jr. This movie is about the life and fam of Christopher Wallace better known as Biggie Smalls. It involves how he grew up and started off in the hip hop industry, to his love life, and goes all the way to his death. This movie stars Angela Bassett as Biggie Small's mother, Derek Luke as P.Diddy, and Jamal Woolard starring as Biggie Smalls. There are a lot of famous and successful actors and actresses in this movie and would be a great film to check out. In Cedar Rapids, this movie will be playing at the Gaxaly 16 Cine. I am pretty sure this is one of those movies that could end up SOLD OUT, so if you want to get a good seat, you should get your tickets early. This movie is going to bring out a fresh start of movies. Before you know it there will be movies about Aaliyah and even Tupac. So next Friday, if you want something to do, go to the movies with your closest friends and family members and go see "NOTORIOUS"
