Highlights On BET Honor Awards

If you watched the BET Honors on Monday night, you proably felt proud to be an African American! The performances were incredible and breathtaking. Monica sung one of Mary J. Blidge's hit singles "Not Gon Cry" and killed it. They kept on showing Mary J Blidge and she was so close to tears and couldn't sit still in her seat as Monica was performing and she was just smiling from ear to ear and singing along to her own song.

Keyshia Cole did a fabulous job singing her new single "You Complete Me." If you have seen the video and bought her CD, you would be amazed at her performance. She wore a beatiful dress and worked with the stage. Keyshia Cole is the type to really get into her songs whenever and where ever she perfroms.

Ne yo did a phenominal job performing his hit single "Miss Independent." During his whole performance B. Smith (One of the honorees) was all into it. He even came off the stage and kissed her hand and she had a big kool aid smile. It was a great night to remember.

Whitney Houston looked so beautiful presenting Tyler Perry with his award. She has came back and is looking like a brand new woman. She performed on the Grammys and sounds better than ever. Ever since she and Bobby Brown broke up, she has been doing bigger and better things with her life.

If you would like to go to the website for more information on how the BET honors went you can go to this site, http://www.bet.com/specials/bethonors09/default/

Blog On Blogging

I think blogging is a great way to express yourself. If you have a strong interest in something and you want to get it across to other people then blogging will be great for you. I like posting interesting subjects to me and getting comments from people who have a similar opinion about it. To me it's like you're in your own little world and people get to come in and see what's going on in your life and what you like to do. I am into a lot of different things and I like to share that with people. So to me blogging is really fun and keeps you updating special events and topics in your life. It also helps you type faster and you start to get really good at it. This is how I look at it: If you are texting your friend and you are really into the conversation, you will begin to text faster and faster because you are excited to get your message across. It's the same thing with blogging! You just want to express yourself and let people know how you are that you just type faster until you realize that you're finished! So if you are amazed and really interested in how my blog site looks, you can start your own. Its simple and easy.

Need Something to Watch??

February is the month to just sit back relax and watch some TV. The weather is still nasty, so the things for you to do is really slim to none. Instead of talking on the phone for hours not discussing anything important. Turn on the television and get caught up on what is happening!!!

There are a lot of shows to watch with a lot of entertainment, comedy, and a lot of drama. If you like to watch BET, VH1, or MTV, there is something for you to watch almost every single day and time will go by so fast.

On Mondays, on VH1, there are the hit shows, "For the Love of Ray J," where he is trying to find love like almost every celebrity that has made a show on VH1. There is also the second season of "I Love Money." If your trying to figure out what that show is about you can scroll down and see. Now on MTV, the TV show "Daddy's Girls" has become something a lot of people who are in love with Run's House are watching. But instead of the show being about the whole Simmons family, its just about Angela and Vanessa as they try to build their career and live independently in Los Angeles. Its really cute and funny!!

On Tuesdays, BET has the third season of "Baldwin Hills." The seasons of this show are getting better every year. There are new cast members and a lot to talk about with your friends. If you want more information on this show, you can also scroll down. Now MTV is really trying to come up with TV series. There is the second season of "From G's to Gents," where Mr. Bentley (who use to work for P.Diddy) has decided to make more of a male version of charm school. He invites some of the hardest thugs or people who want a change in their life into his mansion and teaches them how to become a Gentleman. The first season was great and it really shows a different side of the people who are called "tough" or "hard." Also, on MTV, there is a new show called "T.I.'s Road to Redemption." T.I. is suppose to be sentenced to about 30 years of jail time for weapon charges but if he performs over 1000 hours of community service, his time may be reduced. So he has decided to create a show about his journey doing all these hours. He has 45 days to complete this task, which he is going to be saving himself by saving others. He is going to help some troubled teenagers into turning their life around. This is probably going to be one of the realist shows coming out in 2009.
On Thursday, on MTV, there is the third season of "ABDC" or better known as "America's Best Dance Crew." If you love to dance and like watching others having to take a difficult challenge and turning it into a routine, if this is for you. The judges are real and honest. The audience for the show is hot and live. Finally, for shows to watch if you have nothing else to do, there is "Making the Band 4." The results of how Danity Kane, Donnie, and Day 26 are doing is what this show is about. If you are a big fan of any of these stars, this show is for you. For more information of what you will be seeing, you can scroll down.

Now if you don't want to watch any of these shows, you can always pop in a DVD and enjoy yourself. You can even do something else other than watching the televison, as long as you enjoy yourself during this nasty winter.

United States takes too Much 4 Granted

My mom sent me this as an e mail and it really mad me open my eyes about how America does take a lot of stuff for granted. There are a lot of countries in the world don't experience have of the things we do and it's really depressing!! All the money that we as a country spend on fast food restaurants and materalistic things, we should be helping out those countries that are suffering every single day for no reason at all. Every teen wants to buy the new and exclusive shoes and complain about school and their parents, but if you really think about it, is it worth complaining about? Take away all of the necessities in your life where it becomes a struggle for you to survive and then complain. Life is too short and too precious to be worried about the new CD's, clothes and electronics. So think about others before you open your mouth and complain that life isn't fair because there are people in the world that have it worst than you and don't say a thing about it. They just try to make it another day!!

I Love Money 2

Last night the season premiere of I Love Money 2 came out at 8 pm. It has celebrities off of other reality shows like I Love New York, Rock of Love, and Flavor of Love, who are all trying to win $250,000. The first season of this show was a big hit and the second one is going to be even better. There are two veterans on the 2nd season from the 1st season which are The Entertainer aka Frank and Heat. There is going to be a lot of back stabbing, hearts broken and a lot of drama all for the LOVE OF MONEY.

Stanky Leg Dance

This year in 2009 is all about trying new and exciting things. Something that a lot of teeangers are doing is called the Stankly Leg. I know, it has a funny name and your probably thinking that it has to do with something that smells bad, but its nothing like that. This dance is a start of something different and fun to do. All you have to is blast the song, put your leg out to the side and dance. You can make it your own!!! There is no wrong way of doing it as long as you get into it and catch the beat.

The song was created by the GS Boys, who were found by Yung Joc. They have a sick flow that makes you want to dance with them. They also have a video to this dance, so you can learn and dance to it right away. So if you looking for something new to do and that you want to get noticed from, do the stanky leg!!!

What's Left Of Danity Kane

It has been 3 years of entertainment, drama and tears from Making the Band 4. Including the members of Danity Kane: Aubrey O' Day, D. Woods, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richards and Aundrea Fimbres. They were faced with a hard decision at the end of last season where Diddy came to them and let them know that their careers are at risk. He soon came to the conclusion that he doesn't want Aubrey to be in the group b/c he doesn't like what fame has done to her. In shock and upset by this decision, D. Woods, spoke her mind and also left the group. Leaving only Aundrea, Dawn and Shannon. The group is never going to be the same without all five of them together, but Diddy is determined to make something happen without D. Woods and Aubrey.

We were left hanging on the last season wondering what is going to happen with what is left from Danity Kane. Starting February 5th at 8pm on MTV we will get the answers.

Dawn was on MTV, Jan 28th and was telling their fans about what to expect this season on the show. She says, "As of right now, Danity Kane does not exist." But she also goes on and talks about how she will become a solo artist ast Bad Boy and D. Woods is also going solo. Danity Kane had two top selling albums, their self0-titled debut and Welcome to the Dollhouse. If you want to see what happened to the Pop Divas, you will have to see Making the Band 4 on February 5th.
