T.I Finally Sentenced!!

Today is the day that T.I's life is about to change. He went to court today in Atlanta, Georgia this morning to see about his sentencing for felony weapon charges. Clifford "T.I.P" Harris made a plea bargin a while back saying that he was going to serve 1000 hours of community service to reduce his 32 year sentence. He also has to serve 500 hours after his sentence and pay a fine of $100,000. I blogged about T.I's show a while back called "T.I's Road to Redemption" and all of that hard work trying to change young adults life has paid off. So now T.I has 6 to 8 weeks until its time for him to go to prison to serve one year and a day. It has been reported from MTV that after his was released out of the court house he went straight home to celebrate with his family. Speaking of his show, the season finale is going to be on March 31st on MTV at 8 pm. IT's called "T.I's Road To Redemption: The Reckoning." So if you want to see how he prepared to go to court to hear his sentencing, you should tune into that.

A lot of people was surprised by the outcome of this show. Many thought that after he spent the day with these troubled young adults, that they wouldn't change and go right back to doing wrong. But that wasn't the case at all, a lot of them changed for the better! I think that they had a special connection to T.I is because he actually lived it and overcame what they were going through. While being on the show T.I was asked if he was going to be in protective custody or in general population while in prison and he said that he was going to be doing general population. He states that he can't be in his cell 23 hours a day, while everyone else gets to play chess and watch tv. Some of the people lives that he has changed from the show are Pee Wee (18 year old drop out from Atlanta, GA), Trey (15 years old who is involved in gang banging), Anthony(18 years old who is a member of the gang "Crips"), Edwin( who is a struggling father, who steals from people to support his family), Mario (18 years old who is known for always shooting others), Cynthia (who was witnessed her brother get killed and is involved in a gang) and Donald (18 years old and has had a troubling past but is sticking to the positive side of life).
